The Franco-Dominican Eleonore Caroit was appointed this Sunday minister of the french governmentin charge of the Francophonieof the International Associations and of the French Abroad.
It is the first franco-dominican member of a french governmentreported his father, journalist Jean-Michel Caroit, resident in the Dominican Republic.
As reported by the French diplomacy through the social networkhis appointment was proposed by the prime minister, Sebastien Lecornu.
Caroit thanked the trust put in it for this new function.
