This was notified by Servicios de Pagos Red S (Redsa), an entity that assured that in this period “updates to guarantee safety and stability in the services” will be undertaken.
It is a “programmed interruption for essential maintenance work”, according to The publication Economic agendafrom the official site Cubadebate.
As detailed by the source, “during the indicated schedule, all the services associated with ATM operations, the Enzona platform, the network of points of sale (TPV) and interbank transfers carried out through Transfermóvil” will be interrupted.
Redsa is a non -banking financial institution, created in 2010, with the purpose of managing and managing the ATM network on the island, as well as the processing of debit card operations and other functions linked to electronic payment forms, refers the Cuban News Agency (ACN).
Although on other occasions maintenance and interruptions in electronic channels have already been undertaken in Cuba, Redsa’s announcement has aroused suspicions and concerns on the island as a result of what happened with the recent tariff of Etecsa.
