According to entity, you can carry out this procedure 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in a few minutes. In addition, the electronic license has the same legal value and efficiency as the physical license.
This document has a QR code so that the authorities can validate its veracity and verify if it is valid, suspended or cancelled.
What are the advantages of the electronic driver’s license?
- There is no possibility of loss unlike the physical license.
- You can download the certificate instantly as many times as required as long as it remains valid.
- Drivers with an electronic driver’s license will no longer be charged G58.
- You will no longer need to stand in long queues or go to the establishments to collect your driver’s license.
How to process the electronic driver’s license?
To pass the medical, knowledge and driving exams, follow these steps:
- Create an electronic mailbox of the MTC to receive notifications.
- Sign in to https://casilla.mtc.gob.pe/app/account.html#!/RegistrarUsuarioCasilla
- Then access the web https://licencias-tramite.mtc.gob.pe/frmAcuerdo.aspx
- Enter your ID number, accept the terms and conditions.
- Make the payment of S/6.70, using the code 1601
- Request the security code that will be sent to the email you register and then validate with your electronic mailbox.
- After validation, the electronic license will be sent to the applicant’s electronic mailbox, in minutes.
It should be noted that,Drivers should not have any type of unpaid fine or pending sanction of compliance.
In which regions can the electronic driver’s license be processed?
The electronic license is only available for Lima and Cajamarcabut soon it will be delivered nationwide.
