Electricity reform: deputies ‘heat up’ discussion in networks, prior to the session

Opposition is ratified against

For their part, opposition deputies insisted that they will vote against the reform. Deputy Luis E. Chazaro, coordinator of the PRD parliamentary group, confirmed that his bench will be in the session united and firm to vote against the ruling and as proof of this, he shared a video where they celebrate the birthday of the deputy Fabiola Gallegos.

“The Deputies of the @GPPRDmx are already in San Lázaro, united and firm, to vote tomorrow in favor of #Mexico. We take this opportunity to celebrate the birthday of our colleague @faby_prd. The #Bartlett Law will not pass. We are the #DemocraticResistance. #SomosPRD”, wrote deputy Luis E. Chazaro, coordinator of the parliamentary group of that political party.

After 4:00 p.m., the national leader of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), Alejandro Moreno announced that, as on April 11, they were going to the Chamber of Deputies, which they were already able to enter. “It’s going to be nutty!” tweeted the Campeche politician and shared a video of just eight seconds.

Upon his arrival in San Lázaro, Moreno Cárdenas rejected in an interview that there could be new “betrayals” in his caucus, which, he noted, maintains a firm position of voting against the energy reform initiative. “The federal deputies, 70, of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, come here, we will all be very well coordinated, very well committed to the country to put our firm and clear position, which is to vote against the reform initiative,” he commented. .

As to whether he foresees any change in the voting schedule, the coordinator of the PRI caucus, Rubén Moreira, clarified that “nothing is shaping up. Today the Political Coordination Board is not convened, and we will insist that the calendar be respected”, that is, the two sessions, the first for publicity and the second for the constitutional discussion.

Also in the social network, the PRI deputy, Cynthia López Castro reported that, in the meeting headed by the national leader of this party, Alejandro Moreno, as well as the coordinator of the tricolor caucus in San Lázaro, Rubén Moreira, it was ratified that the Legislators will not only attend, but will vote against the electrical reform.

“The PRI Deputies had a meeting with our National Leader @alitomorec and Coordinator @rubenmoreiravdz where we once again reaffirm that the 70 Deputies are against the Electricity Reform,” he tweeted.
