In the second half of the year, residential electricity and gas consumers will face rates and higher seasonal energy consumption due to low temperatures. It is therefore important to maintain subsidies to ease the burden on people’s pockets.
Nearly two million users, who currently receive fee social, must register before August 5 in the Registry of Access to Energy Subsidies (RASE) to maintain the subsidies and avoid a significant increase in their bills.
Users who belong to the group called Level 3, that is, those who currently receive fee social, they must complete the procedure to maintain the subsidies. If they do not complete the re-registration in the RASE, they will lose this benefit.
Resolution 90/2024 of the Ministry of Energy establishes that approximately 1,700,000 users, who were automatically incorporated into the Registry as low-income households since 2022, must re-register within a period of 60 days, which ends at the beginning of August.
Documentation required to register: Meter number and Customer/Service/Account/Contract number or NIS (This information can be found on your electricity and natural gas bill). You will need an ID to complete the form. CUIL number for each member of the household over 18 years of age.
Pocket income of each household member over 18 years of age. Email address (you will need a valid address to receive confirmations and communications). If the address of the services has a community canteen or snack bar registered with Renacom, make sure you have the registration number.
Steps to register
Visit the official government website for managing subsidies for public services. Fill out the form with your personal and service details. Provide the required information on household income and other relevant details. Review all data entered to ensure it is correct.
Submit the form through the portal. The system will inform you whether or not you will be granted the subsidy. Remember that maintaining the subsidies to the rates electricity and gas is important to avoid significant increases in your bills.
