Electrical storm overflows a drainage channel and floods the streets of the Santa Cruz capital

A torrential rain It fell very early this Friday in the Santa Cruz capital. Added to the intensity of the downpour were hurricane-force winds and thunder that made it difficult to pass through the streets at rush hour due to the entrance to educational centers and the start of the working day.

Some passers-by had to roll up their pants and take off their shoes to cross the avenue; others they chose to take shelter on the sidewalksand wait until the intensity of the downpour decreases a bit.

The drainage channel of Alemana avenue overflowed in a few minutes. A woman who was in the area warned of the situation and asked drivers to drive carefully.
