Armando Zacarías CastilloHead of the Department of Political Studies of the University Center of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University of Guadalajara, warns that the initiative will be approved, but agrees that differences and resistances between allied parties may occur.
“They will approve it because there is no structure that has enough weight in number of votes within the Congress of the Union to stop it, but there is a topic: we will see how political parties react with some proposals such as reducing the budget diets assigned for the operation of the party,” he says.
In the discussion of other reform initiatives presented by President Sheinbaum, including eliminating the electoral nepotistm and re -election, resistance and even disagreements were already presented.
