The president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Minister Cármen Lúcia, said this Sunday (6) that the elections are still calm and that there is no significant incident. According to her, so far, 0.3% of the ballot boxes have needed to be replaced. 
“Voters have been going to the polls all over Brazil since 8 am, Brasília time. We have a very significant number of presence, we have practically no change of ballot box, which is a normal situation, 0.3% of ballot boxes replaced by other ballot boxes”, he stated, at a press conference at the Electoral Disclosure Center, at the TSE.
The minister reported that the fear that voters in the Northern Region would have difficulty reaching the polls, due to dry rivers, was not confirmed.
“What we feared, especially in the North, due to the lack of roads, has not been confirmed. We managed to get voters to turn out,” he said.
Numbers
A bulletin released by the TSE reported that 2 million voters justified their absence through the E-title application, until 1 pm.
The Ministry of Justice and Public Security announced the arrest of 68 voters and the seizure of 12 weapons, also until 1 pm this Sunday. Police forces also arrested 5 candidates. In total, 274 incidents were recorded.
