Elections 2026: there are 32 presidential lists registered so far in JEE

The Special Electoral Jury (JEE) of Lima Centro 1 has formalized the registration of almost all the presidential formulas for the general elections 2026. According to the processed records, until the closing of this edition, 32 groups had achieved the official registration of their plates.

Among the officially registered parties are Fuerza Popular, led by Keiko Fujimori; Alliance for Progress (APP), with César Acuña; Podemos Perú, which nominates José Luna Gálvez; and Perú Libre, with Vladimir Cerrón at the helm.

Added to them are the candidacies of George Forsyth (Somos Perú), Yonhy Lescano (Popular Cooperation), Mesías Guevara (Purple Party), Alfonso López Chau (Now Nation), Fernando Olivera (Frente de la Esperanza) and Roberto Sánchez (Together for Peru).

It must be remembered that the deadline to publish formulas and lists of candidates is February 11. The final and immovable list of applicants, after all deficiencies, exclusions and appeals have been resolved before the Plenary of the JNE, will be officially announced on March 14, 2026.

PEOPLE FIRST

On the other hand, the People First party, after the JEE declared its presidential formula inadmissible because it was out of time, has filed an appeal before the Plenary Session of the JNE.

The political organization, through a press conference and official documentation presented to the aforementioned entity, reaffirmed that the exclusion is directly responsible for the technical failures in the JNE’s DECLARA+ system, a fact that, they allege, was recognized by the electoral technical body itself.

First, the People presented a notarial document verifying the facts. In this document, which was accessed Peru21the outgoing legal representative, Marco Zevallos, and the titular legal representative, Gabriela Salvador, detail the chronology of the events.
