And there were 33 political parties that have registered their presidential plans with the National Election Jury. Until yesterday, there were 32 organizations that managed to overcome their blemishes; however, today Popular Renewal has resolved the two blemishes that had been imposed on his presidential formula and his list of candidates.

POPULAR RENEWAL CASE
The Special Electoral Jury (JEE) has declared unfounded the two objections presented against the candidate formula of the Renovación Popular party.
The judicial resolutions, issued recently, rejected the arguments of the accusers, allowing the party registration process to continue.
The first, which was filed by citizen Estevens Sánchez Puertas, sought to challenge the entire presidential formula, while the second, by Víctor Gutarra García, was specifically directed against the presidential candidate, Rafael López Aliaga. After rejecting both appeals, the JEE has ordered the continuation of the formula registration process.
However, this will only become effective once the judicial resolutions are final, that is, there are no appeals by the complainants and the JNE confirms them.
THE THREE MISSING GAMES
Of the official list of 39 parties that would participate in the presidential elections, this was reduced as the stages of the process passed. The first to be removed from the race was Acción Popular due to problems in its primary elections. Later, the 38 groups were reduced to 38, since Frepap did not present a presidential plan and Ciudadanos por el Perú, from the beginning, stated that it would only have candidates for Congress.
After these reductions, the list officially had 36 formulas, of which, to date, only 33 have managed to register their lists. Missing here are Avanza País and Perú Primero, whose applications still present their marks as “in process” according to the official website of the National Election Jury, and Primero la Gente, which still has to resolve the case of its registration due to problems on the Jury’s platform.
