Elections 2026: 8 parties requested the registration of their presidential plates, deadline expires on December 23

Within the framework of the Elections 2026a total of eight political parties, so far, have requested before the National Election Jury (JNE) the registration of your presidential platescomplying with the electoral calendar. The deadline to submit these applications expires on December 23, as established by the entity.

The delivery of files marks the beginning of the formal review of the formulas, which include the presidential candidates and to the vice presidencies. The process includes verification of requirements, publication for eventual deletions and subsequent resolution by the Jury.

He JNE recalled that submitting the application does not imply automatic registration. Each plate must pass the qualification, observations and correction stages within the deadlines provided by current regulations.

Elections 2026: who makes up the presidential slates presented to the JNE?

The presidential plates registered with the JNE for the Elections 2026 include the following members:

  • Country Advances presented the formula headed by José Williams as candidate for the Presidency, accompanied by Fernán Altuve Febres in the First Vice Presidency and Adriana Tudela in the Second Vice Presidency. This was the first party to request registration with the JNE.
  • Popular Force registered the plan led by Keiko Fujimori, with Luis Galarreta as first vice president and Miguel Ángel Torres as second vice president.
  • Alliance for Progress formalized the presidential candidacy of César Acuña, along with Jessica Tumi in the First Vice Presidency and Alejandro Soto in the Second Vice Presidency.
  • He Good Government Party registered the formula headed by Jorge Nieto Montesinos, with Susana Matute Charun as first vice president and Carlos Caballero León as second vice president.
  • Popular Renewal presented Rafael López Aliaga as presidential candidate, accompanied by Norma Yarrow in the First Vice Presidency and Jhon Ramos Malpica in the Second Vice Presidency.
  • He Party A Different Path requested the registration of Rosario Fernández as a presidential candidate, with Arturo Fernández in the First Vice Presidency and Carlos Pinillos in the Second Vice Presidency.
  • He Green Democratic Party registered the plan led by Álex González, along with Maritza del Carmen Sánchez as first vice president and Félix Medardo as second vice president.
  • He Patriotic Party of Peru presented Herbert Caller as presidential candidate, accompanied by Rosanna Montes in the First Vice Presidency and Jorge Carcovivh in the Second Vice Presidency.
