The opposition outperforms the combined coalition parties by 5 percentage points

In a new survey carried out by the consulting firm Cifra, broadcast this Tuesday on Telemundo, 43% of the population would vote for the Broad Front if the elections were held today, 30% for the National Party, 3% for the Colorado Party and 2% for the Open Cabildo.
In addition, 1% would vote for the Independent Party and 2% would vote for the multicolor coalition but they have not defined which party. This results in the Broad Front surpasses the ruling party by 5 percentage points (38% if the votes of all parties are added).
In turn, 19% have not defined their vote or will vote blank or annulled. With respect to the previous survey carried out by the consultant, carried out in October, the intention to vote for the National Party decreased by one point and the difference between the partner parties of the Coalition and the Broad Front also increased one percentage point, from 4% to 5%. %.
Regarding the vote by geographical region, the Broad Front would vote 49% in Montevideo, and the coalition 31%. Inside it is the other way around. 42% would vote for the multicolor coalition while 39% would vote for the Broad Front.
The survey was carried out on 1,007 interviewees between February 15 and 27, 2023 through landlines and cell phones.
