Elections 2022: This was the closing of the campaign of the candidates for Mayor of Lima | PHOTOS

The main candidates forThey closed their electoral campaign with various rallies and tours this Thursday, a few days before the elections on Sunday, October 2.

Daniel Urresti

The Podemos Peru candidate closed his campaign at the intersection of the extension of Av. Javier Prado and the Central highway, in the district of Ate.

After that, the ex-military man went to Breña to continue his proselytizing activities. In both he made a compilation of his main proposals in terms of citizen security.

Urresti was accompanied in the initial activity by his candidate for deputy mayor, José Luna Morales, and by his party’s candidate for mayor of Ate Vitarte, Enrique Dupuy.

Rafael Lopez Aliaga

The Popular Renovation candidate made a final presentation in the Manco Cápac square, in the district of La Victoria, where he was accompanied by former congressman Renzo Reggiardo.

During his speech, López Aliaga reiterated his proposal to provide 10,000 motorcycles to the capital to provide security against crime.

Campaign closings or any type of proselytizing activity will only be allowed until Thursday, September 29 at 11:59 p.m. After this, any type of public political demonstration is restricted.

George Forsyth

The Somos Perú candidate held his campaign closure at the Jesús Obrero school, in the Comas district, where he gave a short speech of just over five minutes.

George Forsyth even closed his last proselytizing act by coming down from the stage to greet his supporters and take selfies with them.

Gonzalo Joy

The Together for Peru candidate closed his campaign with a rally in Plaza San Martín. The activity started early, from 6:00 pm

The followers of the applicant made various exhibitions, just three days before the regional and municipal elections throughout the country.

Despite the complaint of physical, psychological and sexual violence against her, Alegría continued with her campaign and reiterated that she is the victim of unfounded attacks.

Yuri Castro

The Free Peru candidate also shared the campaign closing venue with his contender from Together for Peru, Gonzalo Alegría. No incidents were recorded.

The applicant was accompanied by dozens of his followers. Although Vladimir Cerrón was unable to attend the closing meeting, his mother, Bertha Rojas, was present.
