The seven candidates for Mayor of Lima will participate this Sunday, September 11, in a debate organized by Latina Television with a view to the regional and municipal elections of 2022.
With three weeks to go before the elections that will take place on October 2, the contenders for the municipal chair will speak about their proposals in the “Punto Final” program from 8 pm
They have confirmed their attendance at the event Gonzalo Alegría, Yuri Castro, Omar Chehade, George Forsyth, Elizabeth León, Rafael López Aliaga and Daniel Urresti.
The debate will have the following topics to expose:
- citizen security
- infrastructure
- transportation
- social programs
- management
In each block, the candidates will confront each other, on equal terms, exposing the proposals of their municipal government plan for the mayor of Lima, as well as their position on different controversial issues so that citizens can exercise an informed vote on the 2 October.
The debate will be moderated by journalists Mónica Delta and Pedro Tenorio, who will ask specific questions regarding the answers and proposals made by the candidates for the Municipality of Lima.
