The National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) It has been assembling the electoral material for the internal elections that will take place on Sunday, May 15 and 22.
This activity is carried out in compliance with the electoral schedule and is carried out at the headquarters of the electoral body located in the Lima district of Lurin.
Once the assembly is complete, the material will be taken at 7:00 p.m. Regional Coordination Offices (ORC) and the 9 Temporary Focal Pointsand later it will be distributed to the 1,054 polling places that will be enabled at the national level for the suffrage of the affiliates of the 147 political organizations that participate in the internal elections.
During assembly, the material is properly grouped, bagged and labeled. Then, it is packed in the amphorae, at the rate of one for each voting table, and contains the installation packages for the table, the count, and the supplies.

The installation package is made up of the ballot papers, the standard act, the hologram booklet, the orange envelope to store the list of voters and the instruction booklet for polling station members.
While the scrutiny package is made up of colored plastic envelopes for electoral records, sheets to protect the results, paper envelopes for contesting the vote and the charge for delivery of records and electoral material.
Finally, the kit contains the adhesive tape, pens and a fingerprint pad. The assembly also includes the computer equipment (laptops, modems) that are required for the use of the Technological Solution for Scrutiny Support (STAE)which is planned to be used in 757 polling places.
The STAE consists of recording the results, printing the tally sheets and automatically transmitting the electoral results to the central headquarters of the ONPE. This technology makes it possible to minimize the records observed, facilitating their accounting in the districts where it is used.

On Sunday, May 15, the members of 5 parties, 53 regional movements and an electoral alliance will go to the polls to directly choose their candidates from the Regional and Municipal Elections 2022.
That same day, the affiliates of the 88 organizations that chose the indirect modality will select their delegates, who on May 22 will choose their candidates for the October elections.
