Elections 2022: JNE will launch advertising campaign "Your vote decides" to raise awareness among the population

The National Elections Jury (JNE) will disseminate the advertising campaign “Your vote decides” with the aim of raising awareness among citizens about the importance of knowing well the candidates who are running in the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections, in such a way that cast a conscientious, responsible and informed vote.

This educational effort of the JNE will be aimed at the young and adult population throughout the country who will exercise his vote in the next subnational elections. It seeks to make the electorate aware of the importance of being informed before electing their regional and municipal authorities for the next four years.

The campaign will run between September 16 and October 1, and will have a presence in radio media in Lima and the provinces. Likewise, it will have guidelines on powerful digital platforms to reach the target audience in the best way, as established by the Law that regulates state advertising.

Radio and digital media have been prioritized, platforms that will allow the transmission of awareness messages so that the voter is motivated to seek more and better information about the candidate who aspires to be an authority in his community.

As for radio, it was considered because it is the second most consumed means of communication in the country. In addition, it is closer to the population and reaches more places in our territory.

Likewise, the Internet is an interactive channel that allows the use of different formats to interact with navigators. For this means of communication, audio, video, graphics and animations will be used. Likewise, an influencer will transmit the message to amplify it on social networksreaching the younger audience.

This campaign is promoted by the Directorate of Communications and Image of the JNE, since it is the unit in charge of formulating, implementing and evaluating communication plans, strategies and products.

In addition, it is responsible for preparing the JNE’s Advertising Strategy Plan for the dissemination of advertising in the media.
