Less than a month before the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections, scheduled for October 2, are held, the National Office for Electoral Processes (ONPE) recalled that citizens who were drawn as polling station members “must register on the website of the electoral entity”, in order to be able to receive financial compensation of S/120, “in the event that they effectively carry out their work in the elections”.
The ONPE established four modalities for the delivery of this economic compensation:
- deposit in Bank account.
- digital wallet associated with the ID.
- Face-to-face at the Bank of the Nation.
- Delivery cash by request to the ODPE.
The latter will be carried out immediately at the end of election day and only for some very remote population centers.
How to process the payment of 120 soles?
The digital form of the affidavit to register your data and receive financial compensation is available at the link provided by ONPE: https://pagomiembromesa.onpe.gob.pe/#/. Also in the application called electoralconsultation.onpe.gob.pe. Here are the steps to follow:
Step 1
Validate your identity with your ID number. The process can only be started if the electoral document corresponds to a person who has been elected as a member of the polling station (incumbent and alternate):
The platform will remind you how important the participation of polling station members is in these elections.
Step 2
Register your personal data. The ONPE will ask you to validate some information about polling places in the previous election and this year.
Step 3
Choose the preferred payment method (if it is a deposit to account, have your savings account number in soles at hand)
Until when to process the payment of 120 soles?
online affidavit will be available until one day before the electoral process, that is, until Saturday, October 1. In the event of a possible second round, a new registration will not be necessary for polling station members, since the registration of those who participated in the first election will be updated.
Likewise, two calendar days after the day of the election, the ONPE will enable the affidavit on its website so that the “queue table members” register their data and can receive financial compensation.
The data
The date of delivery of the economic compensation, via deposit in a bank account, digital wallet associated with the DNI or in person at the Banco de la Nación, will be communicated on the ONPE website and also digitally to each table member.
