Former Fuerza Popular congresswoman Cecilia Chacón was one of the familiar faces of this regional and municipal election, as she ran for the position of mayor of the San Borja district.

The candidate from the Fujimori party had reported that, despite not currently living in that district, it was a jurisdiction in which she had spent most of her life.

How many votes did Chacón get?

According to the ONPE count of 100 minutes processed, Chacón de Vettori got 11,716, which represents 14,196% of the valid votes, far from the more than 35,000 obtained by Marco Álvarez, from Renovación Popular.
