The candidates for mayor of Lima for various political parties attended their respective electoral breakfasts this Sunday, October 2, the day of Regional and Municipal Elections 2022 before going to vote at your polling place.
In the case of the applicant for Popular Renewal, Rafael Lopez Aliagareached the soup kitchen of the Ramón Castillo human settlement, in the Rímac district.
“The practice of voting is a civic practice, the countries of the world develop democracy when we all participate. Peru is defined now, later do not complain”, he pointed out to the press when attending this meeting.
For his part, the candidate of Podemos Peru, Daniel Urrestiattended the electoral breakfast at the Las Rocas de Bellavista Family Association, San Juan de Lurigancho, accompanied by his wife.
Also present at the event was former congressman José Luna Morales, who is running for deputy mayor on Urresti Elera’s list.
In his turn, the candidate for the municipal seat of Lima for Somos Perú, George Forsytharrived accompanied by his family to the electoral breakfast at El Hueco, in San Juan de Lurigancho.
“We are all going to enjoy a democratic party and we hope that respect reigns today, tolerance reigns, union reigns. We have led a campaign with a lot of energy, we have not fallen into confrontation”, he expressed for the media before having breakfast.
At 5:00 pm the electoral flash will be known by the pollsters. However, through the quick count, the first official results of the ONPE could be ready on Sunday, starting at 10:00 p.m.
