The body of a 73 -year -old man was found on Saturday morning (25) inside his residence in the neighborhood of Pinheiros, in São Paulo. The house was flooded yesterday afternoon (24), the day the city recorded the third largest rainfall in the historical series, according to the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet).
The State Civil Defense reported that the elderly is the 15th victim related to heavy rains in the state since December 1, when Operation rains 2024/2025 began.

According to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), military police were called in to serve the occurrence and, on land with two houses, found the victim in the residence of lifeless backgrounds.
“On Saturday morning, a friend of the victim went to the scene to verify the damage of the rain, when he found that a vehicle had been dragged by the current and damaged the garage gate, facilitating the entry of water into the house. The witness entered the residence and found the victim, already lifeless and called the police, ”says SSP note. The name of the victim has not yet been disclosed.
