The outrage grows in the El Tambo district. This Tuesday is the sixth day of hunger strike of businessman Fredy Coarita Coarita, who remains chained in the municipality demanding the payment of S/793,500 for the delivery of musical instruments to 44 schools. Far from calming, the conflict was exacerbated by the arrival of more unpaid suppliers who also claim millionaire debts for services provided to the commune.

The tension moved to the exteriors of the House of Culture of El Tambo, where the protesters went in search of Mayor Julio César Llallico to demand an answer. “Conchudo, Llallico, pays what you owe!”, It was one of the most repeated harangues by the group of protesters who, megaphone in hand, intercepted the mayor while entering the establishment.
In videos disseminated in social networks, the moment is observed when Llallico is face to face with the suppliers, who block their passage with claims and banners. In the midst of the tumult, supporters and workers of the mayor try to open his way, pushing the protesters and chanting: “Llallico, the people are with you.”

Some of the protesters denounced to have been attacked. “We have come to look for the mayor because he owes us, but he sent us to his people and have hit us,” said an affected woman in statements to a local station.
So far, the mayor has avoided giving direct statements about the protest, qualifying the issue as an “administrative issue.” This position has been hard criticized by protesters, who accuse their management of lack of transparency and ignore the human consequences of unpaid debts.
