“El Patrón”, third person implicated in the death of a young man in War, surrenders

Se entrega “El Patrón”, tercer implicado en muerte de joven en Guerra

Santo Domingo.– The National Police reported the voluntary surrender of Elias Castillo, alias “El Patrón”, identified as the alleged perpetrator of the death of the young Reynalda Carrasco Antoine, 22 years old, an event that occurred in the San Antonio de Guerra municipalitySanto Domingo province.

The delivery took place on the front esplanade of the National Police Palace, through the director of Strategic Communications of the institution, Colonel Diego Pesqueirawith the mediation of a human rights commission that served as a link to complete the process.

The police spokesperson guaranteed full respect for the fundamental rights of the detainee and compliance with due process, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and current laws.

They remain detained in this case Jason Stwardalias “Copiloto”, 24 years old, and Pablo Antonio Calcaño Silverioalias “Maiky”, 43, who are in prison under the custody of the Crimes Against the Person (Homicide) Division, after having been arrested in flagrante delicto.

The authorities indicated that Castillo will be placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry, while investigations continue to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
