"El Mencho" and "El Mayo" remain on the DEA's most wanted list

Last Friday, the Secretary of the Navy detained Caro Quintero in Choix, Sinaloa. Later, the founder of the Guadalajara Cartel was transferred to the Social Rehabilitation Center Number 1, El Altiplano, in Almoloya, State of Mexico.

Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada Garcia

The one who is considered the head of the Sinaloa Cartel, Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada, is wanted for drug sales and trafficking.

According to the DEA page, Zambada is accused of possessing cocaine and marijuana, conspiring to import controlled substances, money laundering, possessing firearms, violent crimes, kidnapping, murder, among others.

The DEA offers 15 million dollars for information that contributes to the capture of Zambada, who warns that he may be armed and dangerous.

Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes “El Mencho”

The leader of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG), Nemesio Oseguera, is another of the most wanted men by the DEA.

For those who contribute to providing information that allows the capture of the man born in Michoacán, 10 million dollars are offered.

Before the CJNG, Oseguera worked as a police officer in the municipality of Tomatlán, in southern Jalisco, and later led the Milenio Cartel, a local group allied with the Sinaloa Cartel.

According to the DEA, the man from Michoacán accumulates a fortune of more than 1,000 million dollars.
