He Money Economic Forum recognized the governor of Central Bank of the Dominican Republic (BCRD), Hector Valdez Albizufor its contribution to the development and stability of the economy of Dominican Republicas well as for being a reference as a central banking manager in Latin America.
He recognition was delivered within the framework of the celebration of the 5th elDinero Economic Forum 2025by Carlos José Martí Ramosvice president of the Martí Group and Jairon Severinofounding director of newspaper El Dineroaccompanied by:
- Alejandro Fernández, Superintendent of Banks.
- Rosanna Ruiz, president of the Association of Banks of the Dominican Republic (ABA)
Valdez Albizu expressed in his words gratitude that his work at the head of the Central Bank for so many years it is the fruit of his commitment to the country and with the institution he has served for more than half a century.

The governor highlighted that the technical capacity and the rigor of Central Bank is a product of 625 technicians with postgraduate specialties and master’s degrees inside and outside the country, including more than a dozen with doctoral studies (PHd).
He assured that with them “I count every day to carry out the delicate task of monetary issuehe inflation controlthe macroeconomic stability and the regulation of the financial system,” he said.
After receiving the recognitionthe governor expressed his congratulations to the newspaper El Dinero for its 5th Economic Forum highlighting that “develop initiatives to place the Dominican Republic as logistics map “It is a successful bet to continue promoting economic development and competitiveness at the regional level.”

He Money Economic Forum was developed this year 2025 with the title “Dominican Republic in it logistics map: Public Private Agenda for a hub Competitive and Sustainable”.
During it, four presentations and a panel were presented, with the participation of prominent personalities, such as Magin DiazMinister of Economy and Finance; Víctor “Ito” Bisonó, Minister of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM); and “Yayo” Sanz Lovatón, general director of Customs.
The governor was accompanied by the vice governor, Clarissa de la Rocha; the deputy manager of Monetary, Exchange and Financial Policies, Joel Tejeda; the advisor, Edwin Dominici; and the Director of Communications, Jonathan Abreu.
Likewise, prominent professionals participated in the forum, who discussed globalization and logistics mapsthe advantages offered by hub of the Dominican Republicgrowth opportunities and changes in the new global era.
