On Monday 19, the Departmental Legislative Assembly (ALD) will deliver the Cross Potenzada in recognition to two institutions and a character from Santa Cruz, on the occasion of the ephemeris of the department. The award ceremony will take place during the honor session of the Assembly, which will take place at the Center for Environmental Education.
“The teacher Ruben Pomaa character with a great career (known for the production of the television program Jenecherú); the Cruceña Legion to Combat Cancer (for the work you do in this department and the I support so many people who suffer of this disease); and the DUTYan institution that has almost 70 years of life informing the people of Santa Cruz and making a impeccable journalistic work and, of course, long known as a fundamental stone in the journalistic spheres, not only in the department, but in Bolivia as a whole”, explained Zvonko Matkovic, president of the ALD.
The regulation of honors, decorations, distinctions, tributes and acknowledgments of the Departmental Legislative Assembly that establishes: “The Order Dr. Andrés Ibáñez in the Cruz Potenzada Degreewill be conferred once a year, on the occasion of commemorating the anniversary of the first uprising and proclamation of independence of Santa Cruz, on September 24, 1810”.
Matkovic indicated that on September 1 the call was published and the Qualification Committee was formed, which is made up of representatives of the different ALD factions. The aforementioned committee met and analyzed the various proposals received and finally reached the determination that was made known this Thursday, after it was approved in a reserved session of the Assembly.
