El Alto: the man accused of strangling two women with a rope is sent to jail

This Thursday, the 2nd Anti-Corruption and Violence Against Women Court of the La Paz municipality of El Alto ordered preventive detention, for six months, in San Pedro prison for the man accused of strangling two women with a rope in the stands of the Multifunctional Center in the city of El Alto.

The departmental prosecutor of La Paz, Luis Carlos Torrez, indicated that the detainee was identified as Rodrigo MA, 34 years old, who was charged with the crime of aggravated robbery and in a precautionary hearing the judge declared it probable perpetrator and ordered his confinement in jail.

“During the hearing, the property crimes prosecutor demonstrated that the subject would be the perpetrator of violent assaults that were recorded in the steps that connect the city of La Paz with El Alto.
