From this Wednesday, December 1, the mayor of El Alto will make the payment of the student bonus of 300 bolivianos. This benefit will be canceled in the nine sub-mayors of the city throughout the month.
The Secretary of Institutional Management of the Municipal Autonomous Government of El Alto, Rury Balladares, reported that “tomorrow (Wednesday) the opening ceremony of the payment of the bond will take place.”
“We are going to do it in the morning, it has already been coordinated with Banco Unión, details are only being finalized and at the request of the bank, which, due to the influx of people, was able to pay in the sub-mayors to decongest the banking agencies of the city of El Alto ”, informed the authority.

The municipality reported that Banco Unión guaranteed sufficient personnel to pay for this benefit. On the other hand, the municipality of Alteño will enable the necessary environments to carry out this task.
According to the regulations approved by the Alteña Mayor’s Office, parents will be able to collect the student voucher in December and it will even be extended until January 2022 “for those who, for some reason, could not do so on the dates established in the schedule that will be published this Wednesday” , indicates a press release.
The voucher will be paid to the students of El Alto in replacement of the school breakfast that was not distributed in this administration due to the pandemic. The law to provide this benefit was enacted last Tuesday, November 23.
