MORE THAN 80% CERTIFIED
“A few hours ago the notification came from the Central Government of what we have certified in FDI works. We were at 22% when we started the management and we have already exceeded 80%” revealed Christian Morel. “There is a decision by the works team to work until January 9 in the bitumen area” reported.
In 60 consecutive days, 40 business days, exactly 100 blocks between Melo and Río Branco were paved with bitumen. “We worked at some point with 3 trucks, having one that broke down about 15 days ago, a truck that the machinery team is going to take out on the street again in a short time” he stated.
“There were 20 Million Pesos that we could lose, but as a result of an excellent decision by Nicolás Gramajo and the entire Works team we have changed the project. We are trying to exchange those 20 Million Pesos for the purchase of two collection trucks, a mixer truck and we are in the bidding process, we have a few hours left to see if we can buy a new vehicle that we are not yet in a position to advance. What is certain is that Cerro Largo is not going to lose a single Peso of those 150 million that we had to execute” Mayor Christian Morel stressed.
