The provinces of San Juan, Chaco, Santa Fe, La Rioja, Entre Ríos, Córdoba, Jujuy and Salta registered active forest fires on Wednesday, according to the National Fire Management Service (SNMF).
According to the daily report of the organism, there is an active igneous focus in San Juan, in Fertile Valley (Put the Aguaditas); another in the Chaco department of October 12, in Algodonera; in San Jerónimo (Coronda) in the province of Santa Fe; while jump continues to be the most affected province with five outbreaks in the departments of General José de San Martin, Oran, Aguaray, Santa Victoria and Guachipa.
Two SNMF hydrant planes operated at the site and 30 brigade members and support personnel affected by firefighting belonging to the National Brigade South and the Río Negro Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Service (SPLIF) provided assistance.
The SNMF, dependent on the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, reported that in Jujuy, a focus persists active in areas of Pyromaniac, department of Ledesmaand that of Barrio Sur and Laguna de Toro was “contained”.
The agency’s daily report stated that in the province of Córdoba, active outbreaks persist in Tulumba (La Majadilla), San Javier (El Naranjal) but those that plagued Ischilín (Estancia Pérez Peña) were extinguished; Punilla (Huerta Grande); Colon (Ascochinga); Calamuchita (Second Usina, Puente Vaca and Tala Cruz); San Javier (La Guarida, Luyaba, El Quebracho and Corralito) and Tulumba (Paraje La Ermita).
Likewise, in The Rioja only one was recorded active focus in the Capital, at the El Rosario Postprovincial route number , meanwhile, the one from Villa Casana, in the department of Chapes, was contained and the one from the area of El opportunista, also in the Riojan capital, was controlled.
In Formosa The flames in the department of Pilcomayo remain controlled by firefighters, said the SNMF.
In the area of Parana Delta, fires persist in the areas of Cola del Negro, Azul, Naranja and Corrido, in the department of Victoriawhile that of El Blanco and El Negro was “controlled”, and that of Tigre 1 was “contained”.
In Tucumán, the outbreaks in Juan Bautista, Monteros and Trancas were controlled; and the outbreaks in Tafí del Valle, Aguilares and Famaillá are “contained”; as in the Mendoza city of San Rafael in Altos de Soitué.
Finally, the agency indicated that in the capital of Catamarca in the area of La Gabithe fire was extinguished and in the town of Fray Mamerto Esquiú, in the department of Los Determinados, the flames are contained.
