Eight people, including two minors, were still missing this Saturday, two weeks after the landslide in Las Tejerías, a central area of Venezuela.

Senior executive officials assured that the search will continue until all the disappeared are found, including two girls aged 8 and 12, as well as a 44-year-old woman, several relatives told this source.
Meanwhile, the Government maintains a deployment of almost 3,000 people in the town, located about 70 kilometers from Caracas, to recover roads, although they have already restored the electricity supply, drinking water and other services such as telephony, internet and gas for domestic use, some with occasional interruptions.
Las Tejerías was declared a catastrophe and natural disaster area and has received more than a thousand tons of aid from numerous organizations, including the United Nations.

The rains have caused numerous landslides and floods in more than half of the country in the last two months and have left at least 25 dead, apart from the victims in Las Tejerías.
