He also urged parliamentarians to design an Application Plan to take it to the communities and sectors of the country.
“Our immediate task is to deploy and make laws together with the people, with the people and for the people; in the territory, with the different sectors to put together the work plan”, he said.
Family Commission will approve Maternity Law
The president of the Permanent Commission for Families, Freedom of Religion and Cults of the National Assembly, Asia Villegas, informed this Wednesday that the instance she leads will focus on the approval of the Family, Maternity and Paternity Law.
The parliamentarian noted that one of the mandates of this project is to create the Family Research Center, to specify the number and condition of children in a state of vulnerability in the country.
Villegas added that another of the objectives is to promote the school for mothers, fathers and families, which, in his opinion, “are formative elements, creators of values. It is there where we want to focus our efforts so that these children and adolescents find what has been the dream of supreme happiness”.
For his part, the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahúm Fernández, who attended the commission session, reported that a meeting with the legislative body is planned to address the situation of children in a state of vulnerability in the capital city.
These actions are linked to the second line of work for 2023: expanding social protection.
