“I think we have the best chance of succeeding with the vacancy motion. When is the perfect timing? I think it should be this week, I can’t say the day exactly. I believe that this week is convenient, it all depends on agreements. The threat of the closure of Congress is open, it is no longer a matter of interpretation, there is the act of the Council of Ministers”, he stated in dialogue with Epicentro TV.
In this sense, the parliamentarian pointed out that there are legislators from the pro-government caucuses who have shown their willingness to join the vote to remove the head of state.
“There are congressmen even from the ruling party who have expressed their desire to support with their votes, some perhaps with their signatures. We are currently having multilateral conversations with different members of different caucuses. The majority consensus is that Congress must be defended. This will also be heard in members of the ruling party”, he expressed.
