It starts on Thursday and will be in 7 schools in Cerro Largo
Although the Teams will begin with the organizational activities of the proposals this Wednesday, January 7, the children registered for a new edition of the Educational Summer will be received from next Thursday the 8th as confirmed by the Departmental Inspection of Schools.
The Program seeks to provide recreational and recreational care, but also with components in some educational disciplines such as language and writing, in addition, of course, to a complete food service that includes a snack upon arrival and lunch before leaving the educational centers.
“The Educational Summer begins on the 7th (tomorrow) with the preparation carried out by the Directing Team, the Teachers and the Professors, while on the 8th the children will begin” confirmed the Teacher Cristina Reggiardo.
“The places where the Program will operate this year are 10, school 11, 75, school 114, 119, 99 and school 138” detailed the Departmental Inspector of Schools of Cerro Largo.
“Seven schools in total, each with a capacity of between 50 and 75 children. The number of places may be expanded, but for now that is what is planned. We have already had meetings with the Technical Inspection to organize, that is, everything is already planned for the beginning of the different activities, also with the Teacher and the Inspector of Physical and Artistic Education” commented to THE DIARY PROFESSIONAL.
Registrations, which were received during the first days of December, went very well; waiting lists even had to be formed due to high demand. “There are some waits that exceed 75, but you have to wait the first week. If we see that this number increases, you have to apply for another Teacher position.” he explained.
Initially, the Teams will be made up of a Director, a Teacher and the positions of Professors.
In case of absences in the first days, waiting lists begin to be used to fill the places in each educational center.
AQUATIC ACTIVITIES AND DIDACTIC OUTINGS
“As in previous years, this year we will have the pool again” confirmed Inspector Reggiardo.
“There will be aquatic activities and also educational outings” advertisement. “This is planned and articulated with the Physical Education Coordinator and the Physical Education Inspector” said.
“On Thursday the 8th, schools 10 and 11 start with the swimming pool” the Inspector advanced. “It is a very important activity that children enjoy very much” he added.
Summer Schools have great differences with the year’s curricular proposal because a lot of emphasis is placed on the recreational aspect, although aspects such as writing and reading are not neglected.
The food is specially prepared by Early Childhood and Primary Education Nutritionists, according to the time of year. “Although everything is already coordinated, together with the Bursar, visits are made to the schools to speak with the Directors” held.
Children will enter schools at 8:30 and leave at 1:30 p.m. “After they have lunch they go home” express.
