At the Teacher Training Institute starting in February registrations for 2025
The Teacher Training Institute “Dr. Emilio Oribe” is ending an extremely intense year in terms of intramural but also extramural activities.

“We have just gone through a very nice period with more than a dozen Teachers graduating this year. Last December 17 was the graduation from Teaching. We are currently concluding the administrative work that is much more intense than during the rest of the year. “In these periods when exams are taken and there are graduates, the work becomes more intense” commented the Professor Cristina Hernández.
“The students who graduated now, those who will do so in February and until July 30 of next year will receive their degree at the Degree Collation ceremony that will take place in November 2025” he remembered.

COMPUTING TEACHERS
“As for the teaching career, in Computer Science, although we are not going to have the face-to-face modality, there is a modification in the way it is taken” advancement. “Before, it had to be taken in person through the INET. “They did some subjects here and had to go in person on Fridays and Saturdays to Montevideo” he remembered. “Now we have a new modality that is semi-presential associated with the CERP of Rivera. That is the Reference Center. At the same time, the entire traditional proposal of the Teacher Training Institute continues: Teaching and Teacher in Early Childhood. “The other news we have is that there will be a third year of teaching in Río Branco” confirmed.
“We continue with in-person Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in first and second year. In the blended modality we have all the Specialties” he pointed out.
He considered extremely important what was achieved for the second city, in terms of number of inhabitants, in the department. “We have students who have been waiting since last year because some cannot travel. “We think we are going to have an important group of students.” estimated.
In building matters, work was being done on the conditioning of three rooms of the premises where Jardín 128 operated. “With that we cover what we have running in School 2.
