“We want to express our support for the school’s vice-chancellor, Julio Pasquarelli, who last Wednesday became aware of an administrative sanction through a mass media,” indicated the directives of the Mariano Acosta it’s a statement.
Pasquarelli will be investigated for giving a speech in the framework of the school takeover that took place a month and a half ago, in which, according to the minister, the vice-chancellor “indoctrinated the listeners of that speech with gestures that contributed to generating violence.”
In addition to the support of the school directors, the educational community also repudiated the fact and denounced that both students and teachers are victims of political persecution.
In this regard, Eduardo López, deputy secretary of the Union of Education Workers UTE-CTERA, pointed out: “Larreta wanted to close the teaching staff and could not. Now, he wants to sanction his teachers for defending the right of young people to be heard”.
