It was interrupted when the workers’ representatives withdrew, assessing that the conditions for a real negotiation did not exist.
Now the unionized will request the opening of negotiations within the framework of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security: “We understand that the educational transformation has several components that affect working conditions and therefore have to be negotiated collectively. Teacher training instances within the framework of the curricular reform was one of the main topics of the unsuccessful meeting. These have already started for directors and inspectors and will start on Monday for teachers of the grades in which the changes will be applied in 2023.
