A week after the start of the 2025-2026 school year, the Minister of Education, Luis Miguel de Campsa strategic work day with the directors of the 18 regional addresses and 122 educational districts of the pre -university system, with the aim of consolidating the operational coordination and ensuring an organized and effective school opening this next Monday, August 25.
During the meeting, held at the headquarters of the Higher Institute for Teacher Training Salome Ureña (ISFODOSU)the minister reiterated the commitment of the Dominican government, led by the president Luis Abinaderto guarantee the right to education quality, equitable and inclusive For all students in the country.
“On the shoulders of this team, the confidence of President Luis Abinader rests and, even more, that of millions of children and their families, who expect a decent and orderly school start,” said De Camps when he addresses the educational officials days before the return to classes.

De Camps also highlighted the essential role of regional and district directors such as Operational leaders in their communities, and urged them to act with responsibility, firmness and focus on student well -beingfor the return to the classrooms.
