Santo Domingo. – He Ministry of Education Starting this Tuesday, November 5, more than 17 thousand students are invited for the third call for the National Tests, a fundamental process for the evaluation of learning and educational quality.
Yanile Valenzuela, director of Learning Assessment at Minerd, highlighted the importance of these tests, which provide valuable data for evidence-based decision making.
He indicated that for the Secondary level, a total of 12,143 regular and pending students are called (since 2023) who will appear on Tuesday the 5th, with the subjects of Mathematics and Social Sciences, and Wednesday, November 6, with the subjects of Spanish Language and Natural Sciences.
Of these, 9,201 belong to the academic modality, 2,346 to Professional Technical and 606 to Arts. The tests will be carried out at headquarters centers, with a schedule from 8:00 am to 12:40 pm, including a half-hour break between tests.
Likewise, for Secondary-General Education (Adults) and pending students, 4,801 participants have been called for the weekend of November 9, Mathematics and Social Sciences, and November 10, with the subjects Spanish Language and Human Sciences. Nature.
Valenzuela explained that the tests will be administered from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, also with a half-hour break between tests.
He indicated that Minerd coordinates this application in collaboration with all the Regional and Educational Districts of the country, who assume direct responsibility for the process in their jurisdiction.
“We encourage all students called to attend and complete their Secondary studies, which will allow them to continue their training at higher levels,” said Valenzuela.
