The Departmental Directorate of Education of Santa Cruz and the Bolivian Robotics League They recognized the brothers Yulin Jorge and Yu Long Ricardo Wang Jallaza, aged 18 and 16 respectively, for their contributions in the field of robotics and their outstanding participation in international science and technology competitions.
Nelson Nery Alcocer, departmental director of Education of Santa Cruz, delivered two certificates of ‘extraordinary talent credential’ and two trophies to the Wang brothers at an event that took place in the capital of Santa Cruz.
“That from the presentation of the product and/or extraordinary tangible ability, objective demonstration and pertinent selection, in which They demonstrate the criteria for high performance potential and extraordinary talent specific to the area: ‘Scientific Technological’, which, within the framework of the Productive Socio-Community Educational Model, contributes to the transformation with innovations and creations in the area of their domain,” says part of the certificates awarded to the students.
While the Bolivian Robotics League also recognized, separately, the two brothers from Santa Cruz “for his outstanding contribution to development and the promotion of robotics in Bolivia. Their dedication, effort and passion have been fundamental in driving technological progress in our country.”
In addition, the Bolivian Robotics League highlighted the commitment of the Wang brothers “with excellence and its vision for the future, which have been key to take Bolivia to new heights in international competition and collaboration” in the area of robotics during a science and technology competition that took place in the municipality of Aiquile, Cochabamba.
They won international competitions
Yulin Jorge and Yu Long Ricardo Wang Jallaza, are two brothers from Santa Cruz who have been awarded nationally and internationally in robotics tournaments and are now using their knowledge to develop a novel human exoskeleton that will aid in the rehabilitation of disabled people and can perform high-risk jobs.
The students will present this project called ‘Exotechno’, in international robotics competitions that will take place at the end of the year in Colombia, Mexico, Spain and China, and will be organized by the Latin American Society of Science and Technology (Solacyt)
“We have obtained the accreditations to participate in these world tournaments by winning 30 gold and silver medals in theThe national contests of ‘Robo Matrix’ and ‘Info Matrix’“which took place in La Paz, and we feel proud to represent our country again,” said Yulin Jorge, 18.
Yulong Ricardo, a student at the British School Santa Cruz, says that his robot prototypes respond to a social need, since They seek to solve a problem and make people’s lives easier.
These functionalities of their inventions are what led the two young brothers to win countless science and technology competitions already receiving recognition from the British School, the Departmental Association of Private Schools (Adecop), the Departmental Directorate of Education, the Ministry of Education, and the Agency for Electronic Government and Information and Communication Technologies (Agetic).
