Santo Domingo.-Agreements A meeting between the Minister of Education and representatives of the Association of Fathers, Mothers and Friends of the School (APMAE) of the whole country produced commitments of both parties with the quality of the instruction in the school year that begins on Monday.
Minister Luis Miguel de Camps committed efforts from the government to guarantee a return to organized, inclusive and quality classes.
Jaime Tolentino, president of APMAE, ratified the willingness of the organization to work with MINERD to strengthen community participation in schools and contribute to a more equitable education and with greater opportunities for all students.
During the Camps meeting he recognized and thanked the effort of the fathers and mothers called to support the preparation of the 2025-2026 school year.
On his side, Tolentino called families actively integrated and accompany their children next Monday at the beginning of the school year, highlighting that the most valuable inheritance we can leave our children is education: in values and principles from home, and in knowledge from school.
The minister stressed the importance of family accompaniment in the training process and reiterated the institutional commitment to conclude educational works throughout the country, in order to ensure that no child is outside the classrooms.
De Camps explained that the actions implemented for the beginning of the year form four main axes: availability of quotas and infrastructure, teaching and administrative staff, provision of teaching and technological materials, and student well -being.
