“La Diva Ponceña” recalled a long list of hits before an audience that renewed its admiration, with the artistic production of Pedro García and Skypro.
Nazario was accompanied by her throne that attributes her as “The Queen” and a team of five musicians, two choristers and five dancers, and behind five huge screens in the visual part that made the perfect complement to give that magic that she touches with music and her voice.
Songs like “La Reina”, “Quiero que me haces el amor”, “No te mentia”, “Todavía” and “Como antes” were just the basis for the audience’s screams to get lost among the powerful voice of this artist, flowing between pop-rock and romantic ballad.
The hits continued “I think of you”, “The heart decides”, “Without wanting”, “Tired to your volcano”, “Tired of being tired”, “Look at me”, “The craziest, the most beautiful”, “I’m still waiting for you” and “My little love”, they did not let the emotions go down a level.
One of the most exciting moments of the night was the one she shared with the song “No me mires así”, where Ednita had Frank Ceara as a guest, mixing their voices into one, with the synchronicity that made this one unforgettable.
“It is an honor to have the opportunity to sing songs by one of the most important composers this land has ever produced,” said “La Diva”; while Frank responded, “Thank you, because without you knowing it, you became the first opportunity I had for one of my songs to travel so far and in a voice as precious and beautiful as yours.”
Ednita paid tribute with songs such as “Por amor” (For Love), by maestro Rafael Solano, “Quisqueya”, as well as “Bubbles of Love” and “Si tú te vas” (If You Leave), by Juan Luis Guerra.
“Start Living,” “Madder Than You,” “I Ain’t Gonna Leave,” “After You,” “Avenged,” “For the Worst Lover,” and “Free Spirit” concluded the long list of hits that Ednita offered to the public, but not before saying goodbye with “Bigger Than Big.”
