Edmundo González Urrutia received the Honor Medal of the Congress of the Republic

The elected president of Venezuela, Edmundo González UrrutiaPeru arrived on Tuesday in response to the invitation of President Dina Boluarte. On Wednesday afternoon, after 5:00 pm, González Urrutia is expected to lead a rally in San Martín Square, organized by the Venezuelan community in Peru. This event seeks to show the support of the Venezuelan diaspora to the elected president and reaffirm the struggle for democracy in his country.

During his stay, it is also expected that the elected president will hold meetings with the mayor of Lima, Rafael López Aliaga, who will give him the keys of the city and with representatives of the Venezuelan community residing in Peru, which exceeds one million people.
