Edmundo González Urrutia said Monday, after one year of the presidential elections, which will remain next to the opposition leader María Corina Machado “to enforce” the mandate of “change that our country needs.”

González Urrutia said that “an unequal struggle between citizens who defend their rights and an armed group that only the violence now has now left. In this fight our people suffer all kinds of injustices. More than 2,500 people have been arrested during the last 12 months, affecting not only innocents who are persecuted for political reasons but by their relatives ».

Likewise, Edmundo González asked military and police officers “to prepare to act at the decisive moment.” He also insisted on the support of the international community to Venezuelans.
“We will continue to consolidate strategic support and do what you have to do to get those that are still missing,” he said.
