Opposition leader Edmundo González met with the relatives of political prisoners in the World Freedom Congress from where he recalled that he will continue fighting for the release of all those who are unjustly imprisoned in Venezuela
Edmundo González met this Friday, November 22, with some relatives of political prisoners at the World Freedom Congress, as reported on his Instagram social network account.
“The relatives of Venezuelan political prisoners face a daily tragedy. They are not only dealing with the absence of their loved ones, but also with the extreme conditions and injustice surrounding these detentions,” González said.
Likewise, the opposition leader added that “it is a suffering that extends beyond the walls: a type of implicit torture that affects both those behind bars and their families.”

González recalled his commitment to the freedom of all political prisoners in Venezuela and He stated that together they would continue forward, because this cause unites them and strengthens them.
He also thanked the World Freedom Congress team for their work with the families of political prisoners. This is a movement of democracy leaders representing activists from 60 countries ruled by autocracy.
“Today I heard the testimony of a group of families of political prisoners. Some have been living this anguish for up to four years, others for just a few months, but the pain and tragedy are the same. What unites them is the strength, love and hope they share in the midst of this adversity,” said the opponent.
