congressman edgar tellofrom the Magisterial Bloc, referred to the censorship carried out in plenary session on Lady Camones, president of the National Parliamentwho was questioned by some audios, broadcast by Epicenter TVin which he is heard receive instructions from the leader of the Alliance for Progress (APP) party, César Acuñato pass bills in favor of his electoral campaign.
In statements to the press, the legislator mentioned that these audios “generate outrage” in the country and that the dialogues heard between César Acuña and his relatives of APP do not correspond to partisan acts.
“What the Executive has done is a public denunciation of how some sectors have wanted to kick the chessboard of democracy and generate instability. Above all, these audios generate outrage throughout the country. Like a Board of Directorsand a president, who must maintain impartiality and governability for all Peruvians, undoubtedly (she is heard) in a dialogue that does not correspond to the level of government that takes place in an internal party meeting”, he declared.
Indeed, for Edgar Tello, the conversations between César Acuña and the APEP members “involved government decisions” in Congress and had as a “cost” the censorship of Lady Camones the last Monday.
On the other hand, he said that they have been talking with other groups to present “a consensus list” for the election of a new Board of Directors in Congress.
“We are talking to see a consensus list in which (the president of Congress) is a person who talks and communicates. That it be the bridge between the Executive and the Legislative, but not to satisfy the powers of the State, but to satisfy the needs of many Peruvians who are eagerly waiting for their problems to be solved, ”he asserted.
At another point, Tello spoke about the vacancy motion that has been promoted by the congressman —not grouped— Edward Málaga against the president peter castle as a result of the indications of the Prosecutor’s Office against him.
“Congressman Málaga’s motion will have support to substantiate his vacancy request. We hope that it will present it so that we can have knowledge and be able to evaluate it and, if the arguments are found, we will analyze it in plenary”, he added.
