Édgar Ortiz, national deputy for the PLRA (Llanista), affirmed that his colleague and co-religionist Celeste Amarilla, should be imprisoned for “bribery”, this, during the extraordinary session of the Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday.
“He handed over a liberal party with money, without judicial problems, he did not put the party in debt. Today in the PLRA there is not even toilet paper. I have to say that because some watch and do politics looking at people, and others do politics looking at business, they see people as a school snack and if someone should go to jail it should be her too (By Celeste Amarilla). She has to be in prison for bribery, ”she said.
He also maintained that Blas Llano, former president of the PLRA, left through the front door of the party.
“I am proudly a llanista. Blas Llano was never prosecuted for diversion of funds. He made the opposition come to power. He lives in Villa Elisa, not in expensive neighborhoods in Asunción,” he commented.
