The member of the Permanent Commission for Comprehensive Development of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy Edgar Raúl Leonifor the Acción Democrática party, considers it important to include all the political, economic, social, student, cultural and religious sectors of the country in the dialogue tables, in order to create better solutions for the country.
In this sense, in an interview for the program In the airtransmitted by Venezuelan Television (VTV), legislator Leoni also considered that the dialogue should take place in Venezuela.
Likewise, in relation to the position that the Venezuelan opposition had held regarding the dialogue with the National Government, he stressed that the different political tendencies of the country are open to talks to get out of the “political quagmire” and generate solutions in favor of the growth of the nation. .
“There was a very irresponsible (opposition) sector, which called for a blockade and sanctions, which today is backing down; but there are other sectors, among them Acción Democrática, that make up the Alianza Democrática, that we have always been against sanctions, because historically, they have not shown any change,” the deputy insisted.
Consequently, he stressed that the political party he represents is a party with a vocation for government, which wants to continue in the mayoralties and be measured in the upcoming elections, as established in Venezuelan law.
Economic growth of the country
On the other hand, in parliamentary matters, he extended his support to the agri-food production initiatives proposed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to encourage exports and recover the country’s economy. At the same time, the deputy Edgar Raúl Leoni, indicated that for this to happen, the credit must be reactivated and the legal reserve must be corrected.
