The works included inspections due to suspicions of irregularities in the consumption of electrical energydismantling of illegal connectionsregularization processes and collection of new clientsinstallation of more meters and review of measurement systems.
From January to December, the distributor executed 245,554 adjustments of supplies that, along with other interventions, add to the fight against electrical fraud that it has been executing, as communicated through press release.

For the period, it installed 170,200 telemetered meters and 17,209 conventional ones, in addition to another 55,284 changes of these devices to active customers. The installation of new meters allowed the company to eliminate at least 14,069 direct connections.
Edesur He also worked in the sanitation of the prepaid serviceclosing the year with the figure of 19,417 clients healthy and 1,404 Concentrated Measurement Modules in Height -MCA normalized.

He also said that the supply to 972 clients that receive energy at voltage levels of medium voltage.
The number of dismantlements due to detected irregularities amounted to 18,800, plus another 551 clients who were discovered to have practices of energy theft electricity as a result of interventions carried out in coordination with the Deputy Attorney General’s Office for the Electrical System (PGASE).
