The company Dominican Edesur reported that it is placing new electrical networks in the Colombia sector, in the municipal district of Pescadería, Barahona.
Edesur works to improve the living conditions of the residents of the Colombian sectorwho had been waiting for a quality power line for 32 years.
The company’s intervention will benefit more than 300 people, who will go from users to regular customers, since for more than three decades they received the service with craft connectionsusing sweet, barbed and communication wire.
The general manager of Edesur Dominican, Milton Morrisonreported that the company’s goal is to move forward with the installation of new power lines in the sectors of the provinces under its concession area.
“In Edesur We continue the guidelines of President Luis Abinader, to bring quality electricity to every corner of the Dominican Republic,” he said. Milton Morrison.
He informed that the operation is a response that arose as a result of requests from neighborhood associations and actors after community meetings, for which reason Edesur came to their aid, since they need to be connected to a service that guarantees greater quality of life from the people.
Gratitude
The leaders of the neighborhood council of the town, Héctor and Agustín García greeted the work of Edesur to improve their quality of life.
López said they had been with the electric cables in poor condition, and for that reason they appreciate the initiative and attention; while García, described as effective the works of Edesur.
The installation will include:
- Led type lamps 120 watt
- A 37.5 transformer
- 600 meters of Triplex and 12 posts
