Edesur normaliza nuevos clientes y desconecta usuarios ilegales

Barahona. As part of its actions to reduce losses due to electricity fraud, Edesur Dominicana attracted new clients through extensive operations deployed in the provinces of Barahona, Pedernales, Independencia and Bahoruco.

In the Balaguer neighborhood, located in the municipal district of Villa Central, Barahona, the electricity supply was regularized for 40 users who were previously illegally stealing energy.

Additionally, in the Vicente Noble municipality, 14 illegal connections were dismantled, which made it possible to resolve several service failures. A burned transformer that affected the supply in the area was also replaced.

Edesur normalizes new clients and disconnects illegal users

In the Los Ríos municipality, in Neiba, the company hired 41 new clients and managed to get another 22 users to commit to regularizing their status to receive electric service legally.

On the other hand, in Tamayo, in the Bahoruco province, Edesur disconnected 30 users who had been illegally stealing electricity for a long time.

The distributor reaffirmed its commitment to continue its fight against electrical fraud and the normalization of service, with the aim of reducing losses and guaranteeing optimal energy supply for all its customers.
